In addition to the specialist areas listed elsewhere on this website, Stuart has mediated General Commercial contract disputes across almost all industry sectors (a list is provided in the link below) and covering issues such as contract formation, pre-contractual provision, repudiation and rescission, interpretation and implied terms, delay, frustration, force-majeure, quality and delay, pricing issues such as overage and rebates, performance metrics and minimum volume rights, formalities and notices and termination, as well as disputes and renegotiations of joint venture agreements.  These disputes have often been between international parties and across multiple jurisdictions, and sometimes involving public bodies and national governments and local authorities.  Foreign laws have sometimes been involved.  Dispute values range from very small sums, to hundreds of millions sterling.
